Frequently Asked Questions FAQ
|
1. Why use the term Black?
We accept and use the term Black, because in America and
through out the world, historically even in Africa, skin color
have meant the difference in treatment and even in
determining life and death, usually to the detriment of Black
people because of our God-given Black color. We have been
made to feel, believe and ascribe less services and treatment
due to our Black color. Even today, Black people in 2009 turn
away and never to speak of it proudly despite the ever
growing commercials that flaunts white skin as the standard of
beauty and majesty on public and private media. We use the
term Black in reference to persons of African heritage and
decent because our understanding of global state system of
racism white supremacy has done unredeemable harm toward
the positive outlook of Black color of Black people. At the
Black Community World see our Black color as Beautiful and
Out Standing as one of many of God divine creation. But the
consequence of racism white supremacy has harmed and has
caused the failure of Black people to functioning with the
confidence as a group and as individuals to sustain Black
people in a self sufficient and self reliant modern society.
However, The BLACK COMMUNITY WORLD has instituted a New
Awareness of self respect to awaken the Black communities
and nonwhite world (Africans, Asians, Arabs, Hispanics, and
Indians) towards ending racism white supremacy and replacing
it with justice and peace. The rebirth of Self-Respect is the
confidence base that will sustain Black people in a modern
self-sufficient and self reliant society, and will create a New
Nation out of a New World for our future.
